Taken as a surprise for this to show at our small local cnc. Owners drove a Daytona to yesterday’s ncc and claims he owns 15 cars. This is a lusso bought in 98 for 100k. It is very original but engine is from/built into a gto motor. He claims 308 hp and revs to 10. The car was in awful shape. Idk how people can not at the very least wash this before bring it out. It had bird shit and paw prints from a cat on the trunk....still very cool

He brought the car to show people and you complain. Some people don't care as much you y'all

I'm not complaining I have always wanted to see one up close I just would feel super self conscious driving a dirty 2.5m car. It's like buying a mansion and neglecting lawncare. I'm sure the car is loved and actually gets driven unlike so many other 250 it was just shocking to see it in that way I guess. The pix suck at showing the dirt

Maybe he was afraid of coming off like some generic millionaire collector who keeps his classics in surgically clean condition and never drives them?Orrrr there was some construction/debris/dump truck on the road he took getting to the show?

Maybe some people prefer enjoying the car, instead of worrying about how clean it is?

Me too I had never seen a 250 before this and think it might be most expensive car I've ever seen which was previously a gullwing

Im okay with this car being dirty, Im not okay with poor overall condition. Scratches, bumps and wear add character and show the car was used for its intended purpose. Seeing a car in general disrepair thats not being restored or fixed is a sad sight though.
